New Roofs & Re-Roofing
New Roofs & Re-Roofing in Exeter, Devon
New roofs in Exeter — our expert new roof installers cover Exeter, EX1 and the nearby villages of St Leonards, Heavitree, Pinhoe, including the period terraces in St Leonards, carrying out complete roof replacements and re-roofing in tile, slate and flat roofing systems.
For listed and conservation-area properties in Exeter we specify natural slate or handmade clay tiles and traditional lead details, so a new roof meets planning requirements and looks as though it has always been there. A new roof on a Exeter terrace means careful work at the party walls, fresh lead soakers at the chimneys and a natural or quality man-made slate that suits the street — we handle neighbour notices and scaffold access for you.
We strip the covering back to the rafters, check and treat the timbers, then rebuild with breathable membrane, new battens and your chosen tile or slate, finished with dry ridge and verge so nothing relies on mortar alone. Every new roofs job we carry out in Exeter is quoted in writing after a free inspection — you see photographs of what is actually wrong before you spend a penny. A typical house re-roof takes three to six working days, scaffolded throughout, with a fixed written price agreed before we start.
M.S & Sons is a family business — the people who quote your new roofs in Exeter are the people who do the work. We cover St Leonards, Heavitree, Pinhoe and the wider Devon area, and we are fully insured with every job guaranteed. Exeter sits right in the middle of our regular rounds, with Exmouth (about 8 miles away), Dawlish (about 10 miles away) and Tiverton (about 13 miles away) all close by, so new roofs visits in EX1 fit easily into our schedule.
If you are looking for new roof installers in Exeter, our local roofing contractors provide complete new roofing services across EX1 and the surrounding villages of St Leonards, Heavitree, Pinhoe.
