Flat Roofing Hayes

Flat roofs fail at the details — upstands, outlets and joins — long before the middle of the sheet gives up. In Hayes that matters more than most places: the UB3 area is dominated by interwar semis and post-war terraces with concrete tiles, and outer London weather swings, heavy tree cover and older suburban roofs make repairs and gutter work a regular need. Our roofers know the long semi-detached roads off Coldharbour Lane and the streets around them, so we arrive with the right materials and the right access plan first time.

The rear additions and back extensions on Hayes terraces nearly all have flat roofs; ours are laid with proper falls and upstands tucked into the brickwork so they stop leaking for good. Garages, bay tops and side extensions on Hayes's 1930s homes often have tired felt flat roofs; we replace them with GRP or EPDM that will last decades rather than a few winters.

Most single-storey extension or garage flat roofs are completed within one to two days with minimal disruption. On every Hayes job the approach is the same — we strip back to sound decking, replace anything soft, add firrings so water actually runs to the outlet, then lay a high-performance felt, EPDM or GRP system dressed properly into every upstand. Nothing starts until you have a fixed, written price backed by photographs.

We are a family-run, fully insured roofing company, not a call centre passing your details on. As well as Hayes itself we cover Yeading, Hayes End, Harlington and the rest of Greater London, so if you have been searching for roofers near me for flat roofing in UB3, you have found a local team who will actually turn up. Because we also cover Southall (about 2 miles away), Uxbridge (about 3 miles away) and Northolt (about 3 miles away), our vans pass through Hayes most weeks — which keeps flat roofing appointments in UB3 quick to arrange.
