Gutter Cleaning & Repairs Farnham

Blocked gutters are the single most common cause of damp walls we see — and the cheapest problem on the whole property to fix. In Farnham that matters more than most places: the GU9 area is dominated by Georgian townhouses and traditional tile-hung cottages, and heavy tree cover, wet winters and clay soils mean moss growth, blocked gutters and slipped tiles are common. Our roofers know the Georgian frontages of Castle Street and the streets around them, so we arrive with the right materials and the right access plan first time.

Parapet and hidden box gutters on Farnham's period homes cannot be seen from the street, so they are often neglected until damp shows inside; we clear them, check the lead linings and re-seal outlets. Tree-lined lanes around Farnham mean cottage gutters fill with leaves every autumn; a twice-yearly gutter clean is the cheapest way to stop damp walls in older solid-brick and stone homes.

Gutter cleaning is usually a same-visit job; full uPVC replacement on an average home takes one to two days. On every Farnham job the approach is the same — we clear the full run by hand or vacuum, flush test every downpipe, re-seal or replace failed joints and correct the fall so water actually reaches the outlet instead of the brickwork. Nothing starts until you have a fixed, written price backed by photographs.

Homeowners in GU9 choose us because we answer the phone, turn up when we say and tidy up after ourselves.
