Flat Roofing Notting Hill

Flat roofs fail at the details — upstands, outlets and joins — long before the middle of the sheet gives up. In Notting Hill that matters more than most places: the W11 area is dominated by stucco-fronted period houses with hidden parapet gutters, and London's mix of heavy summer downpours, plane-tree leaf fall and constant traffic grime is hard on roofs and gutters. Our roofers know the white stucco crescents off Ladbroke Grove and the streets around them, so we arrive with the right materials and the right access plan first time.

Hidden flat roofs behind parapets are common in Notting Hill; we renew them in lead or high-performance felt and re-form the outlets so rainwater never backs up behind the parapet wall.

How we work in Notting Hill: we strip back to sound decking, replace anything soft, add firrings so water actually runs to the outlet, then lay a high-performance felt, EPDM or GRP system dressed properly into every upstand. You get a free inspection, clear photos and a fixed written quote before any flat roofing work begins. Most single-storey extension or garage flat roofs are completed within one to two days with minimal disruption.

Homeowners in W11 choose us because we answer the phone, turn up when we say and tidy up after ourselves. Our family-run, fully insured team also covers Ladbroke Grove, Holland Park, Westbourne Grove and the rest of West London for flat roofing and all general roofing work. Because we also cover Shepherds Bush (about a mile away), Hammersmith (about a mile away) and Acton (about 2 miles away), our vans pass through Notting Hill most weeks — which keeps flat roofing appointments in W11 quick to arrange.
