New Roofs & Re-Roofing
New Roofs & Re-Roofing in Penzance, Cornwall
New roofs in Penzance — our expert new roof installers cover Penzance, TR18 and the nearby villages of Newlyn, Heamoor, Gulval, including the seafront properties facing Mount's Bay, carrying out complete roof replacements and re-roofing in tile, slate and flat roofing systems.
For listed and conservation-area properties in Penzance we specify natural slate or handmade clay tiles and traditional lead details, so a new roof meets planning requirements and looks as though it has always been there. On cottages around Penzance we can re-roof in reclaimed or handmade tiles and keep the character of the roofline, while quietly adding modern membrane and insulation underneath.
We strip the covering back to the rafters, check and treat the timbers, then rebuild with breathable membrane, new battens and your chosen tile or slate, finished with dry ridge and verge so nothing relies on mortar alone. Every new roofs job we carry out in Penzance is quoted in writing after a free inspection — you see photographs of what is actually wrong before you spend a penny. A typical house re-roof takes three to six working days, scaffolded throughout, with a fixed written price agreed before we start.
M.S & Sons is a family business — the people who quote your new roofs in Penzance are the people who do the work. We cover Newlyn, Heamoor, Gulval and the wider Cornwall area, and we are fully insured with every job guaranteed. Because we also cover St Ives (about 7 miles away), Camborne (about 13 miles away) and Redruth (about 16 miles away), our vans pass through Penzance most weeks — which keeps new roofs appointments in TR18 quick to arrange.
