Flat Roofing Newton Abbot

Flat roofs fail at the details — upstands, outlets and joins — long before the middle of the sheet gives up. In Newton Abbot that matters more than most places: the TQ12 area is dominated by Victorian terraces and modern estates, and high rainfall, Atlantic storms and thick moss growth in damp valleys mean roofs need regular attention. Our roofers know the terraces climbing away from the town centre and the streets around them, so we arrive with the right materials and the right access plan first time.

The rear additions and back extensions on Newton Abbot terraces nearly all have flat roofs; ours are laid with proper falls and upstands tucked into the brickwork so they stop leaking for good. Many newer homes in Newton Abbot have flat roofs over garages, porches and link sections; we fix the ponding and blistering these suffer from by adding firrings and a modern single-ply or GRP system.

We strip back to sound decking, replace anything soft, add firrings so water actually runs to the outlet, then lay a high-performance felt, EPDM or GRP system dressed properly into every upstand. Every flat roofing job we carry out in Newton Abbot is quoted in writing after a free inspection — you see photographs of what is actually wrong before you spend a penny. Most single-storey extension or garage flat roofs are completed within one to two days with minimal disruption.

We are a family-run, fully insured roofing company, not a call centre passing your details on. As well as Newton Abbot itself we cover Kingsteignton, Highweek, Decoy and the rest of Devon, so if you have been searching for roofers near me for flat roofing in TQ12, you have found a local team who will actually turn up. The same crews that handle flat roofing in Newton Abbot are regularly working in Kingskerswell (about a mile away), Torquay (about 6 miles away) and Paignton (about 6 miles away), so booking a slot in TQ12 is rarely a long wait.
