Flat Roofing Paignton

Flat roofs fail at the details — upstands, outlets and joins — long before the middle of the sheet gives up. In Paignton that matters more than most places: the TQ3 area is dominated by seaside bungalows and interwar semis, and high rainfall, Atlantic storms and thick moss growth in damp valleys mean roofs need regular attention. Our roofers know the bungalow rows behind Paignton seafront and the streets around them, so we arrive with the right materials and the right access plan first time.

Garages, bay tops and side extensions on Paignton's 1930s homes often have tired felt flat roofs; we replace them with GRP or EPDM that will last decades rather than a few winters. In windy, exposed spots around Paignton we fully bond flat-roof systems and use heavy-duty edge trims, so the wind cannot get under the edge and peel the roof back.

We strip back to sound decking, replace anything soft, add firrings so water actually runs to the outlet, then lay a high-performance felt, EPDM or GRP system dressed properly into every upstand. Every flat roofing job we carry out in Paignton is quoted in writing after a free inspection — you see photographs of what is actually wrong before you spend a penny. Most single-storey extension or garage flat roofs are completed within one to two days with minimal disruption.

M.S & Sons is a family business — the people who quote your flat roofing in Paignton are the people who do the work. We cover Preston, Goodrington, Blagdon and the wider Devon area, and we are fully insured with every job guaranteed. Paignton sits right in the middle of our regular rounds, with Torquay (about 3 miles away), Brixham (about 4 miles away) and Totnes (about 5 miles away) all close by, so flat roofing visits in TQ3 fit easily into our schedule.
