Flat Roofing Tiverton

Flat roofs fail at the details — upstands, outlets and joins — long before the middle of the sheet gives up. In Tiverton that matters more than most places: the EX16 area is dominated by stone cottages and traditional slate roofs, and high rainfall, Atlantic storms and thick moss growth in damp valleys mean roofs need regular attention. Our roofers know the slate roofs of the old mill streets and the streets around them, so we arrive with the right materials and the right access plan first time.

Rear extensions on older Tiverton cottages often join the main roof awkwardly; we build the flat roof to fall away from the cottage wall and flash it properly into old brick or stone.

Most single-storey extension or garage flat roofs are completed within one to two days with minimal disruption. On every Tiverton job the approach is the same — we strip back to sound decking, replace anything soft, add firrings so water actually runs to the outlet, then lay a high-performance felt, EPDM or GRP system dressed properly into every upstand. Nothing starts until you have a fixed, written price backed by photographs.

Homeowners in EX16 choose us because we answer the phone, turn up when we say and tidy up after ourselves. Our family-run, fully insured team also covers Bolham, Westexe, Chettiscombe and the rest of Devon for flat roofing and all general roofing work. Because we also cover Exeter (about 13 miles away), Exmouth (about 21 miles away) and Dawlish (about 23 miles away), our vans pass through Tiverton most weeks — which keeps flat roofing appointments in EX16 quick to arrange.
